I just saw Tropic Thunder and I thought it was a hilarious movie. It's a comedy about five actors shooting a war movie who accidentally run into a real-life drug smugling community. My favorite character is Robert Downey Jr.'s character, an Australian actor who underwent cosmetic surgery to turn himself into a black man for the role he's playing. He played the character brilliantly. Anyway, if you haven't seen the movie, I suggest you get the DVD or something because this is a movie you shouldn't miss!
Eagle Eye Movie
Labels: Eagle Eye, moviesI just saw Eagle Eye, an action thriller movie starring Shia LaBeouf, a while ago. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is probably the most outrageous government conspiracy movie I've seen. Here's a short synopsis...
Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Monaghan) are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situation, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. As the situation escalates, these two ordinary people become the country's most wanted fugitives, who must work together to discover what is really happening – and more importantly, why.
You probably won't be able to tell by just reading the synopsis, but the plot is just so absurd that I found it hard to take this movie seriously. I mean, the movie is nice... it's just that it was so unbelievable. I don't want to give away the ending so I'm just going to say that the last person I thought could be the villain turned out to be the villain. The movie is as unlikely as Transformers. But I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars anyway, because it kept me at the edge of my seat almost the whole time.
Midnight Sun (partial draft) by Stephenie Meyer
Labels: books, Midnight Sun, TwilightI loved Twilight, Stephenie Meyer's first book in the Twilight Series. It's actually my favorite among all four books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn). However, even after reading all four books, I still wasn't satisfied.
I got to know Jacob's point of view in Breaking Dawn. However, Edward still seemed like a complete mystery to me. He seemed too perfect, too cold and too unreachable. Midnight Sun was supposed to be the fifth book in the Twilight Series. Stephenie was in the process of writing it when a partial draft got leaked in the internet. To make the long story short, Stephenie decided to just make the leaked draft available in her website and the project was now put indefinitely on hold.
The draft goes back to the events in Twilight and tells the story in Edward's point of view. I'm currently reading it and I love it! I hope Stephenie finds the inspiration and drive to finish this book. I would definitely buy this if it were published. You may view and download Midnight Sun draft at this link. I'm not sure though how long this will stay in her website. Better grab it while you can.

Celebrity Lookalikes - Hugh and Patrick
Labels: lookalikesIn my opinion Hugh Jackman is so much more appealing than Patrick Dempsey (it’s probably the accent that does it for me) but I think that physically, they kinda look alike. I actually thought they are one and the same before. Anyway, here’s some proof…
Celebrity Lookalikes - Marcia and Julianne
Labels: lookalikesINTRO: This section is dedicated to celebrities that look like other celebrities. Believe me, there are a lot out there. My goal is to post one pair every now and then.
First up, these two readheads… Marcia Cross and Julianne Moore. I’ve always thought these two actresses looked similar to each other. They have the same red hair and fair skin, although I’m not sure if both of them are natural redheads.
Bella and Edward from Twilight (Movie)
Labels: books, movies, TwilightI loved Stephenie Meyer's novel Twilight. That's why I can't wait to watch the soon to be released Twilight movie. It was set to be released on December 12, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the release date was moved earlier to November 21, 2008! Yay!
Here are some pictures of my favorite fictional couple... Edward and Bella (played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart).
